1: Bristow Group Announces Eight New Aircraft Purchases
HOUSTON, Jan. 11 PRNewswire-FirstCall Bristow Group Inc. NYSE BRS, a leading provider of helicopter services to the offshore energy industry, today announced the acquisition of eight new aircraft. Bristow has exercised options to acquire two S-92 and three S-76C++ helicopters from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., and three EC225 helicopters from Eurocopter, a division of EADS. The combined value of these purchases is approximately $143 million to be funded with the proceeds of previously completed financings and future operating cash flows. Bristow maintains multi-year options to purchase additional aircraft from Sikorsky and Eurocopter as market conditions require.

DART Helicopter Services has announced that their affiliated partner, DART Aerospace Ltd., has received EASA approval of their Bearpaws for AS350/AS355 and EC130 model aircraft. DARTS Bearpaws have been previously approved by Transport Canada, FAA, Argentina and Austria.

Premier Helicopters will be providing helicopter rides at the 6th Annual Buckaroo Ball to benefit the Children’s Hospital Research Institute. All profits from the donations offered for a ride will be given to the Children’s Hospital. The Buckaroo Ball is being held on Saturday, August 25th at Colorado State Senator Tom Wiens’ Ranch at 5567 South Perry Park Road, Sedalia, Colorado. Rides will be offered from 11am-6pm.
