If you are interested in joining the Med-Trans Family as a Flight Nurse, you will need to possess the following:

Required Qualifications
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Three years nursing experience in a critical care and/or emergency room department.
3. RN licensure in the states served by the assigned flight program.
4. BCLS, ACLS, PALS
5. NRP within 6 months of hire date
6. TNATC within one year of hire date
7. CFRN within 18 months of hire date

Preferred Qualifications
1. Minimum one year flight experience
2. Minimum one year ICU experience

3. NREMT-P

4. Instructor certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP)

Flight Nurse Qualifications:

--Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

--Current California RN license.

--Minimum of 3 yrs critical care experience (>1 yr of adult ICU experience preferred).

--Current AHA ACLS, BCLS, PALS and NRP provider.

--CEN, CCRN and MICN recommended for entry-level position.

--Must maintain a \"duty\" weight of less than 210 lbs (body weight plus uniform and equipment).
