Night Flight Concepts Maintenance Solution Selected To Enhance North Slope Borough Search and Rescue Aviation Unit NVG Program
North Slope Borough, AK (May 16, 2012) – North Slope Borough’s Search and Rescue Aviation Unit has chosen Night Flight Concepts® (NFC) to provide a Night Vision Goggle (NVG) repair and maintenance solution to augment their existing night vision program. Metro Aviation begins EC145 deliveries to Duke Life Flight

Nationwide air medical operator and helicopter completions specialist, Metro Aviation, Inc. has delivered the first of two EC145 helicopters to longtime air medical program, Duke University Life Flight. Life Flight Administrative Director, Henry Ward accepted the aircraft during a delivery ceremony at the Metro Aviation main facility in Shreveport, Louisiana this month. Attending the event was the President and CEO of the Eurocopter Group, Mr. Lutz Bertling, as well as the President of American Eurocopter, Mr. Marc Paganini.

DONALDSON DELIVERS CH-53K GROUND TEST VEHICLE EAPPS UNITS

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN, May 16, 2012 – Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI), has delivered the first complete shipset of CH-53K Engine Air Particle Protection System (EAPPS) Units to Sikorsky Aircraft. The milestone delivery supports Sikorsky’s System Development and Demonstration Program. The advanced engine protection units featuring Donaldson’s patented Strata™ Tube technology will be installed on the CH-53K Ground Test Vehicle. The complete shipset included an EAPPS for the number 1, 2 and 3 engines including the integral engine inlet supplied by Meggitt and installed by Donaldson.
