Sikorsky Global Helicopters Delivers First Two S-434 (TM) Helicopters

EADS North America Receives $247 Million Contract for Light Utility Helicopter Program

The U.S. Army awarded the fifth year contract for the Lakota Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) to EADS North America for $247.2 million. This contract increases the company's supply of 45 additional Lakotas along with hardware to equip the rotary-wing aircraft for medical evacuation, personnel transport and multi-mission applications.

DART Helicopter Services’ announces that their subsidiary partner Apical Industries has received FAA approval or their new Cable Cutters Kits for the Bell 206A, B, L, L-1, L-3, L-4 helicopters. Transport Canada and EASA approvals are pending. The Cable Cutters Kits provide a means of protecting the helicopter during a wire strike by providing the capability to cut a cable or wire before catastrophic damage occurs.

Cobham Digital Audio Control System (DACS) Receives FAA’s TSO Certification
