AgustaWestland Displays Wide Helicopter Product Range at Special Operations Industry Conference

AgustaWestland North America, a Finmeccanica company, will showcase its wide range of rotorcraft solutions for US Special Operations on the joint AgustaWestland/DRS Technologies booth (#1204) at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference, taking place from May 20 through 22 in Tampa, Florida.

Highlighted to the Special Operations community will be the W-3 Sokol, AW119Kx, and AW169, 139, and AW149, all of which have the capability to compete for future military programs and succeed in Special Operations missions.

“Our product line features the most modern range of operational military helicopters, and we are pleased to have our capabilities on display for US and International Special Operators,” said Robert LaBelle, CEO of AgustaWestland North America. “AgustaWestland  is a global player in the production and support of military aircraft around the world, and we are poised to respond to future Special Operations requirements with the critical technology and customization required, coupled with cost effective training and support, to conduct missions critical to national defense.”

Starting with the AW119Kx and running all way to the three-engine AW101, the AgustaWestland military helicopters have integrated state-of-the-art avionic systems featuring independent mission equipment buses that transform each helicopter from a platform to a fully operational mission system.

AgustaWestland North America, a global leader in military and commercial vertical-lift, is a US subsidiary of AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, operating under a Special Security Agreement and responsible for US government programs.
