Aspen Avionics Develops Industry’s First Certified Glass Panel Primary Flight Display (PFD) for VFR Pilots

Aircraft Electronics Association, Nashville, TN: Aspen Avionics, manufacturer of the Evolution Flight Display system, today announced it has developed the industry’s first certified glass panel PFD built specifically for VFR pilots. Metro Aviation delivers EC155 to Brazil

Shreveport, Louisiana –  Metro Aviation recently completed and delivered an EC155 to a corporate customer in Brazil.  The aircraft was configured per customer specifications and will accommodate twelve passengers and two pilots, each with their own Bose headset.  The luxury helicopter also includes carpet and leather interior panels.  

AEA Unveils 2013 Year-end Avionics Market Report

NASHVILLE, TN -  On Thursday, March 13, the Aircraft Electronics Association announced its 2013 year-end Avionics Market Report during the opening general session of the 57th annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.

As part of its report, the AEA also announced it has narrowed the dollar amount reported by the participating manufacturers to only include the business and general aviation markets, which resulted in the association adjusting its 2012 year-end sales figure reported a year ago.

Aviation Specialties Unlimited Obtains FAA and Transport Canada STC for S76 B
