DART Develops Custom Solution to Help AS350/355 Operators Carry Long Narrow Items

Hawkesbury – In its efforts to develop custom and innovative solutions to help customers accomplish demanding missions, DART Aerospace is pleased to add the Quick Release Long Cargo Tube to its family of cargo expansion products. Designed for the specific needs of AS350/355 operators transporting up to 12-foot long cargo, the Cargo Tube can carry up to 280 lbs of long, narrow items such as antennas, snow sampling rods, construction material, and long tools used in the mining industry.

Moscow - During his trip to the United States and Mexico, Alexander Mikheev, the CEO of Russian Helicopters, part of State Corporation Rostec, held a series of business meetings aimed at deepening cooperation with current foreign partners and at launching cooperation with new ones.

Alexander Mikheev met with the commercial director of Brazil's Atlas Taxi Aereo, Waldomiro F. Da Silva Junior during Heli-Expo 2014, held in California 24-27 February, to discuss the current contract to supply Brazil with Mi-171A1 helicopters. They also considered future cooperation on the delivery and servicing of Russian-made helicopters.

Hawkesbury  – DART Aerospace today announced that Heli-Support of Wanaka, New Zealand will demo the PA100 PUREair System engine protection system for the AS350 and EC130 families of helicopters.

The PA100 PUREair System, co-developed by Pall Aerospace and DART Aerospace, is a totally redesigned, reengineered, and retested engine air protection system that takes the capabilities of its EAPS predecessors to the next level. Featuring Pall’s latest PUREair technology, the new system is self-cleaning and virtually maintenance-free, unlike other filtration systems qualified for this aircraft. The PA100 PUREair system will provide the highest level of helicopter engine protection while offering a 2% gain in engine power over conventional inlet barrier filters.

Southeast Aerospace Trains Mexican Navy MI-17 Crew

Southeast Aerospace trains Mexican Navy MI-17 crew on new Cobham glass cockpit installation.  Southeast Aerospace (SEA) is performing a complete avionics upgrade of the MI-17 cockpit.  SEA’s extensive integrated technical services includes specialized crew training for today’s advanced avionics systems.  Mexican Navy personnel were given hands-on training at SEA’s Melbourne, Florida facility.  Training will continue for the future MI-17 upgrades performed by Southeast Aerospace.
