Aspen Avionics Partners with NextGen GA Fund to Help Aircraft Owners Finance NextGen Avionics

Albuquerque, NM: Aspen Avionics announced today it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the NextGen GA Fund to accelerate the rollout of NextGen airspace mandates by providing access to quick and affordable incentives to help aircraft owners finance mandated avionics upgrades.

Hawkesbury - DART Aerospace is pleased to announce the introduction of a 39-inch extended height landing gear for the Bell 412 aircraft. Designed specifically for this aircraft, the landing gear will include an exclusive, stainless-steel, aft crosstube that is stronger, more durable, and corrosion-resistant.

This unique landing gear was developed to provide additional ground clearance for belly-mounted water tanks, or other belly-mounted equipment commonly used in firefighting or law enforcement missions. This unique 39-inch extended height crosstube, exclusively manufactured by DART, is 12 inches higher than the standard height crosstube and requires less maintenance.

WICHITA, Kan. — Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted a Part 23 Approved Model List (AML) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the MD302 Standby Attitude Module (SAM®). The AML STC joins a growing list of existing Part 23, 25 and 27 STCs, ranging from single engine pistons to advanced twin turboprops, light business jets and rotorcraft.

“Supplemental Type Certificates can help service centers when completing an installation on a field-approval basis,” said Tom Genovese, Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics, Director of Sales. “The straight-forward STC installation instructions may reduce the need for engineering, ultimately making the process easier and reducing cost for the aircraft operator, and it compliments our existing TSO certification.”

Moscow - The Korea Forest Service has formally opened a new service and maintenance centre for Ka-32 helicopters manufactured by Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of Oboronprom, part of State Corporation Rostec. Representatives of Russian Helicopters took part in the opening ceremony for the centre, which will promote the use of Ka-32 helicopters in the Republic of Korea and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region and reduce waiting times for maintenance and repair of these helicopters.
