More than 30 teams from Switzerland, Poland, England, Belgium, Germany, Belarus, France, New Zealand, Italy and Russia are taking part in this competition.

The participants will drive the helicopters of 7 different models: Robinson R44 and R22, Bell 206, Cabri, Eurocopter EC135, Huey and Gazelle.

Russian Helicopters wins MAKS 2013 Golden Wings award for best premiere

Moscow  – Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of Oboronprom, part of State Corporation Rostec has won the Golden Wings best debut award at the MAKS 2013 International Aviation and Space Salon for its presentation of the Ka-62 and Mi-38.

AgustaWestland and Russian Helicopters sign Heads of Agreement  to develop a new 2.5t helicopter

Moscow – Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of Oboronprom, part of State Corporation Rostec, and AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, are pleased to announce that they have signed a Heads of Agreement at the MAKS 2013 air show defining the joint design and development programme for a new 2.5-tonne class single-engine helicopter. The agreement was signed by Daniele Romiti, CEO of AgustaWestland, and Russian Helicopters CEO Dmitry Petrov.

Russian Helicopters obtains certification for corporate and VIP version of Mi-171

Moscow  – Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of Oboronprom, part of State Corporation Rostec and a leading global designer and manufacturer of helicopters, has obtained certification from the Aviation Register of the Interstate Aviation Committee for the commercial Mi-171 designed for corporate and VIP transportation. The certificate was presented to the helicopter’s developer, Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, at the MAKS 2013 International Aviation and Space Salon.
