Flight Display Systems Hires New Sales Manager, Patrick Bloodworth

Metro Aviation to host Pratt and  Whitney Factory Maintenance Training

Metro Aviation is increasing the curriculum offered by the new Metro Aviation Training Center with the addition of Pratt & Whitney courses presented by FlightSafety International.  Pratt & Whitney factory maintenance training for the PW 206/207 will be offered quarterly at Metro's Training Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.  These instructor-led courses emphasize proactive safety, reliability, performance and quality.  

Becker Avionics' DVCS6100 Digital Voice Communications System was selected again recently by Mercy Flight Inc. of Buffalo, NY, to upgrade the existing legacy analog audio system in another one of their BK117 EMS helicopters. The BK117 will be their fourth aircraft with Becker DVCS, and will soon undergo avionics modification and DVCS installation at Uniflight in Reading, PA.

A unique register of historic aircraft in the UK has been updated and made available online by the British Aviation Preservation Council (BAPC), the umbrella organisation of UK aviation museums that look after the country’s historic aircraft.
