Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps, served as keynote speaker for the inaugural Thomas Lord Charitable Trust Lecture on November 27 at Little Hall Theater in Quantico, Va. Last Call for Professional Helicopter Pilot Scholarship Applicants

With less than 17 weeks to go until Helicentre Aviation’s Professional Pilot scholarship application process comes to a close, the company is sending out a global message to potential candidates that there is still time to apply. Incredibly, despite receiving over 900 registrations of interest, not a single complete application form has been received for either of the two scholarships which hold a combined value of around £67,000. “When we announced the scholarships almost a year ago we thought we’d be inundated with applicants” says Captain Chris Line, the company’s Chairman. “We are looking for two motivated people who deserve a career break - we’re really excited about the awarding the scholarships and creating an opportunity for these pilots to start their real-world helicopter industry careers with Helicentre Aviation”.

ST. LOUIS, Mo., December 3, 2012 – Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI) has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval from Japan’s Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) for an Inlet Barrier Filter (IBF) system for the AgustaWestland AW109E Power and AW109SP Grand New helicopters.  Donaldson produces the only IBF available for these aircraft.
