Aero Dynamix adds AW-139 to STC Portfolio – Delivers First Aircraft to LAFD

EULESS, TX – Aero Dynamix added the Agusta Westland AW-139 to its STC portfolio of NVG cockpits. With this addition, the Aero Dynamix portfolio now includes 26 multi-ship STCs on 36 different aircraft model types.

(Van Nuys, California – October 15, 2012) Today, the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) approved a $13,908,464 contract to Security Paving Company, Inc., for rehabilitation of the main runway (16R/34L) at Van Nuys Airport (VNY). The total amount of the project, which includes all cost elements, is estimated at $20,483,076. Ninety percent of the project’s cost will be funded through a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant.

PRESCOTT, Ariz., October 15, 2012 – One very accomplished student enrolled in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Helicopter Specialty degree program will be even more prepared to enter the helicopter industry when they graduate.  MD Helicopters generously donated an MD 500 Transition Scholarship to students from the Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Science Rotary-Wing program.  The transition course takes five days and is valued at approximately $ 10,000.
