First EC145 Goes into Service for HealthNet Aeromedical

Grand Prairie, TX – May 25, 2010 American Eurocopter announced today that HealthNet Aeromedical has placed its first EC145 into service. The aircraft, which was ordered in August of 2009, joins a fleet of eight other Eurocopter helicopters that include three EC135s and five AS350s. The EC145 will be based at HealthNet’s Morgantown, W.Va. facilities.

New 429 Flight Training Device Unveiled

FORT WORTH, Texas (May 17, 2010) - The Bell Helicopter Training Academy, announced that it has placed into service its new 429 Flight Training Device (FTD). This device, the first simulator for the 429 in the industry, was built to Level 7 specifications and is slated for FAA Level 6 certification by early 2011.
