I just learned that a dear Army friend of mine was the pilot killed in the crash of the Mercy Air 412 in the Cajon Pass yesterday. Paul was always the consummate professional, and was one of the kindest, gentlest and most genuine people I have ever met. I am forever thankful that I had the priveledge of knowing him, flying with him, and being able to call him my friend. He was one of the good guys, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I would like to ask anyone reading this to please keep Paul and moreso his family, in your prayers along with the souls and families of his medical crew. May God keep you and grant you eternal peace my friend. I cannot think of many who deserve it more. Blue Skies and Tailwinds forever. Kill Bluefor. - Bish

It was a big loss to the area. I didn't know the crew but saw the air ship a lot [img src=http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1/funkygorilla_pics/mercyair2.png] Also check out http://www.incidentcontrol.com/Mercy2/ a friend of mine took those pictures at the memorial. -Jeff G.-

Pretty sure I served with him in Alaska in the 4/9 Cav. This is more than late but prayers to all the families.
