Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade from an excel spreadsheet logbook that I build myself to a commercial product. However, I can't seem to find any that are HEMS friendly. By that I mean, they have a dedicated NVG column or a blank columns that the user can label themselves. My spreadsheet is adequate, but I'd like something more professional to present to possible employers. For example, the e-logbooks on Sport'y website don't have a NVG column so there is no way that I can tell to account for that time. It would also be nice to the logbook with an portable app. Anyone ever used electronic logbooks and can make recommendations?

Try "myflightbook.com". It is free and you can keep track of your flights on a computer, laptop, iphone and ipad. They have a place to keep track of NVG time.

Logbook pro. It does what you want including the ability to make your own columns and criteria.

I've been using Logbook Pro since it came out many years ago and it does everything I need and WAY MORE !!

I recently was asked to provide my employer with SIMULATOR INSTRUMENT, not simulatED but simulatOR. So I had to go and figure out how many hours I had in the Simulator and of those how many were instrument !

Logbook Pro could have done it in seconds but it took me about 30 minutes to figure out how, after that it was a breeze.

This thing is powerful and has changed during the years but all updates are free. Oh and the support is impressive too.

Self discipline is when you do something that you know is right even though you don't want to do it. As a professional and safe pilot you have to maintain control over your desires & emotions. Have INTEGRITY and great WORK ETHIC and you'll succeed in life.

ilogbook app, customizable in every way I've wanted, currently have 28 columns between RW and FW. Super easy to export into a excel and do whatever you like from there. 3 seconds to make an entry

Another vote for logbook pro. It will track about anything you want. At one point I needed to track flight an duty times for 121 International, 121 Domestic, 135 DOI contracts in fixed wing and rotor. Between tracking currency, PC's and separating out times I couldn't have done it without Logbook Pro. Even better was their tech support. I needed a special category that wasn't in there and they custom built it for me.
