I posted a few shots in the gallery and the other forum, I thought I might post one here as well. Here is a shot during our ferry flight from Keystone Helicopters in Philly, back to South FL in our 2 new A109's. Level at 4.5, Norolk to Florence, cruising at 162 kts. The photographer John Spatuzzi, who is also a colleague of mine and the pilot of the other helicopter, has one of those fancy high dollar Nikon cameras that takes unbelievable pictures. I have a bunch of great shots from that trip. I actually reduced that photo by 2/3 so that it could be viewed better here. The original is huge.

Lyn; It's been quite a while since I've been around the Agusta. However, I don't remember the nose gear being partly exposed. Is that normal? It looks in the picture as if it either didn't come up completely, or that it's in transit. Those are really nice pictures, though. Blow them up poster size and hang them in the office.

That is one pretty aircraft! No matter what one thinks of Agusta, I think the aircraft has the lines of a Tiger Shark...looks sleek, fast, and ready to attack!

Yep, it is completely normal. The nosewheel doesn't completely disappear when fully retracted. They are a sweet machine, I have over 950 hours in the A109E Power, but we call it the MH-68A Sting Ray :)
